Rule-26: একই ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুর দুটি গুণের ভিতর তুলনা বুঝালে comparative degree এর ক্ষেত্রে er না হয়ে more বসে

Rule-27: than শব্দটি conjunction, তাই than এর পরে nominative case হয়ে থাকে। objective case হয় না।

Rule-28: যার সাথে আর তুলনা হয় না, তার পূর্বে more বা most হয় না। অর্থাৎ unique, chief, universal, equal, perfect প্রভৃতির ক্ষেত্রে comparative বা superlative হয় না।

Rule-29: incomplete comparison বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয় না। অর্থাৎ ‘than’ conjunction এর পরে subject ও verb বসে।

Rule-30: কার সাথে তুলনা করা হচ্ছে তা যখন জানা থাকে না তখন more বা most হয় না
