1. Read the passage and answer the question that follow:
Very often we say that children are our future. But what happens to them actually? Many of them are day-labourers who are working organized, unorganized and household sections. Their innocent smile is seen no more. It is ironically comfortable. They are deprived of love, affection, nutritious foods, shelter and clothes. They are supposed to play with toys but they are not in that position. They are also supposed to go to school, but they are being forced to work hard in that stage. Believe it or not everything we touch in life, the clothes that we wear, the food we eat, the newspaper we buy at motor cross, the flower we purchase at some important turning point of the city are steeped with the sweat and toil of children Sometimes it is said strongly that child labour should be banned. But there is a question, what will happen then? They will be unemployed certainly. They will have to pass their days without having a square meal a day. So, before banning child labour proper facilities such as food, education etc. should be ensured for the unfortunate children. It is essential to ensure their physical and mental growth. And we will be able to say that they are our children. One day they will take the responsibility to run the country. They can serve the nation if they are properly nurtured. So, the development of the country depends on how they are treated.
