Rule-1: কিভাবে – এ প্রশ্ন জিজ্ঞাসা করলে- 

    - প্রথমে How বসবে।
    - Auxiliary verb বসবে (to be verb, to have verb, modal auxiliary এবং to do verb নিয়মানুসারে)
    - Subject বসবে।
    - বাকি অংশ বসবে। 
    - প্রশ্নের উত্তর অংশ বাদ যাবে।
    - Note of Interrogation বসবে। 

Examples: 
1. He did it carefully.
    WH-question: How did he do it?
2. They come by bus.
    WH-question: How do they come?
3. He will succeed through hard labour. 
    WH-question: How will he succeed? 
4. She is reading attentively. 
    WH-question: How is she reading?

Rule-2: কত দাম বোঝালে প্রথমে How much বসবে।

Examples: 
1. I bought it at Tk. 50.
    WH-question: How much did you buy it? 
2. This shirt will cost Tk. 2000.
    WH-question: How much will this shirt cost?
3. Rice is being sold at Tk. 43 per kg.
    WH-question: How much is rice being sold per kg?

Rule-3: কোন পরিমাণ গোনা গেলে How many এবং কোন পরিমাণ গোনা না গেলে how much বসবে। 

Examples: 
1. I carried two books.
    WH-question: How many books did you carry? 
2. They have eaten a lot.
    WH-question: How much have they eaten?
3. He will spend a lot of money. 
    WH-question: How much money will he spend? 

Rule-4: কোন ব্যক্তির বয়স বোঝাতে how old ব্যবহৃত হয়। 

Example: 
1. The boy is ten years old.
    WH-question: How old is the boy? 
2. My grandmother was a woman of 70.
    WH-question: How old was your grandmother?

Rule-5: কোন কিছুর দূরত্ব সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন করতে how far / how long বসে। 

Example: Our college is ten miles from our village.
WH-question: How far is your college from your village?

Rule-6: (বছর, মাস, দিন ইত্যাদি) দীর্ঘ সময় , একটানা নির্দেশিত কোন সময় বুঝাতে প্রশ্ন করার সময় how long বসে। 

Example: 
1. I have been living in Jessore for 13 years.
    WH-question: How long have you been living in Jessore? 
2. They have been waiting for half an hour.
    WH-question: How long have they been waiting?

*কোন দৈর্ঘ্য বোঝাতে how long বসে।
*গভিরতা বোঝাতে how deep বসে। 
*দূরুততা বোঝাতে how fast বসে।
*ঠান্ডা বোঝাতে how cold বসে। 
*বিস্তৃতি বোঝাতে how wide বসে।
*ধীরতা বোঝাতে how slow বসে।
*ঘন ঘন বোঝাতে how often বসে। 

Examples: 
1. This stick is seven feet long.
    WH-question: How long is this stick? 
2. The girl writes to her father every week.
    WH-question: How often does the girl write to her father?
3. The car runs 70 km per hour.
    WH-question: How fast does the car run per hour?

Rule-7: শারীরিক কুশলাদি সম্পর্কে জানতে how ব্যবহৃত হয়।  

Examples: 
1. I am fine.
    WH-question: How are you? 
2. Fine. Thank you. 
    WH-question: How are you?
