Tree plantation
Tree plantation means to plant trees in a fixed or
different areas to get fruit and to produce wood. The importance of tree
plantation can't be ignored. There is a close relationship between trees and
human beings. Trees are our best friends. They give us food, shade, wood and
shelter. They protect us from natural disasters. They give us oxygen and take
in carbon dioxide. Man cannot live without oxygen. By taking in carbon dioxide
trees keep the environment suitable for human beings to live. If there had been
no trees, the environment would have lost balance. Floods and drought may occur
repeatedly. Fertile lands would turn into deserts. So it is a must for us to
plant more and more trees. The rainy season is the best
time for tree plantation. We should take some effective
measures for their safety and growth. We should take care of them properly. We
can get available trees from any nursery or govt. agriculture department. We
can take part in tree plantation campaign. We should make the tree plantation
program successful for a better world.
