Mobile phone is a telephone system that does not need any wire. It is one of the wonders of modern science. It has added a new dimension to our life. It can be moved easily from one place to another keeping in the pocket or grabbing in hand. Through mobile phones, we can communicate with people living in distant places. We can also send messages, play games and sports, know about time, use calculator, and get different news. At present mobile phone is largely used for getting entertainment. It is a great source of music, video clips and films. Smart phones have powerful cameras and high speed internet facilities. We can use popular applications like Facebook, Twitter, Skype etc through mobile phones. Mobile phone has some bad sides too. Scientists have recently discovered that mobile phone can cause cancer to the users. Besides, it has become a fashion with the young people. Some students have become addicted to mobile phones. They use mobile phones more than they read books. Terrorists and criminals are using it for bad purposes. But in spite of all these bad sides, the importance of mobile phones cannot be denied.
